KAMPALA - Lira Municipality MP, Ms. Cecilia Atim Ogwal, yesterday walked into Uganda House, after a seven-year absence and declared war against President Yoweri Museveni and the Movement rule.
Maama Cecilia, as she asked to be addressed, said in only six months, UPC would re-organise to give Museveni a hard time. |

This is the season for UPC. I ask all UPC men and women, young and old wherever you are to rise. This is the time. Are you ready? I am ready, Ogwal told a news conference at Uganda House yesterday.
Ogwal constantly received deafening applause from a section of party faithful throughout the conference...

- New Vision (extract):
Fanfare and songs of “Congress of the People" and "Uganda and Obote tunakwenda mbele" and chanting of "UPC everywhere" yesterday rocked the 10th floor of Uganda House....
Ogwal and the chairman of the presidential policy commission (PPC), Dr. James Rwanyarare, hugged
and jointly addressed the party’s weekly press briefing.
“I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and UPC.
Members of the great party and the press; according to the Bible, the road to Ephraim and the road to Judah were welded together. It is important to remember that Ephraim and Judah were brothers of the same father and same mother,?the tough-talking Ogwal said...
